THE PODCAST

In Garden of The Mind: Conversations to Cultivate a Growth Mindset, we will take a journey with Solykos and his guests as they explore the depths of what makes us human, as well as the technologies we are creating to usher in the future for this planet.  

Here in the Garden it is our belief that we can use these new technologies to create an environment and society that can benefit all life that shares this wonderful planet.  It is important now more than ever to have open minded discussions regarding this tech.  Discussions in wide range of topics from the emerging blockchain industry, to the applications of new DNA technologies: genetic testing, CRISPR as well as applying genetic testing technologies to the blooming Cannabis industry.  As Solykos loves to point out, DNA is the missing link that can bring us the answers that we are looking for to so many issues that currently plague our society.  These discussions are becoming more important to have as our creative minds gain access to these emerging technologies.  As we approach this new age of integrating these technologies more and more into our daily lives, it is important that we ask questions.  Just because we CAN do something, SHOULD we?  How should genetic data we gather be used?  What can testing our own DNA teach us about ourselves and how can we pair the data gathered with genetic data from other species to better understand our own health?   

We will also dip our toes into how to keep our bodies as well as our minds strong so they are always performing optimally, which is a mandatory habit to cultivate as these technology advances continue to move our culture forward.  Through these discussions we can take the lessons that we learn from the past philosophers and apply them to the emerging technologies that are advancing the human race at increasingly rapid pace.  Which has become more and more necessary that we create a “scientific moral system” to keep these technologies in check.
