Today I took a trip down some country roads and found a river. Marley and I had a great time and, on the way, back I listened to Hilltop Hoods newest album. Their song, Fire & Grace really hit home for me when it came on, due to what has been on my mind lately. With that, my elements of water and fire met this afternoon and I blew off a bit of steam. Admittedly, I sound kind of angry here, but I still feel my points are valid. I go on a few rants, about how when you work hard to acquire skills for anything. How most people use complements to discredit your hard work and sacrifices that it took you to gain the skills by saying things, “You’re just a natural, you got blessed with a god-given talent. I could never do that.” Although what they are really doing is giving themselves an excuse to be lazy and not follow their passions. Also, I left in a few things where I was taking my steam out on my studio. Mainly because when I was editing it, I found my stupid outburst hilarious. And with that, I hope you get some kind of take away from this, because this one was mainly, just therapy for ya boy, enjoy.
All in all, I would say it was a productive day for the Garden of The Mind inside Solykos Studios.
